Learn French organically with Luca, a native French speaker who has several years of experience teaching online.
I love taking the time to get to know my students. Whether in one-to-one lessons or in a small group, we go at your pace, and everything is shaped around your goals and what makes you curious.
prendre son temps /pʁɑ̃dʁ sɔ̃ tɑ̃/ expression To take your time, without rushing. « Ici, on prend son temps. »
I was born in Brussels, and I've always been passionate about languages. I started teaching myself English at the age of ten, so I know first-hand what it feels like to learn a language from scratch. Today, I teach French to English speakers all over the world.
For me, giving lessons isn't enough to make someone a teacher. A good teacher passes on a real taste for the language and keeps your curiosity alive. That's why I always listen closely to what you need, and do everything I can to shape each lesson around you. I also bring a sparkling, sunny personality to every lesson, and that's what my students appreciate most!
I'm also an artist and a musician, with plenty of other passions: travelling, reading, philosophy and hiking. They often find their way into our conversations.

Conversation tables for intermediate and advanced learners, built around a short reading and a good question.
From your very first bonjour to fluent conversation. Clear explanations in English, lessons shaped around your life, and plenty of patience.
Inspired by the literary salons of Paris. Each week, a small group of intermediate and advanced learners meets online around a short reading to discuss, debate and think out loud in French.

Of course, it's exactly who I love teaching. We start with sounds, greetings and simple sentences, and then we grow together, organically: each lesson builds on what you already know, what you need and what interests you. No rigid programme, just steady progress at your own pace.
At the start, yes: explanations are in English so everything is clear. As you progress, we use more and more French, at a pace that feels comfortable.
We meet by video call. I share my screen for examples, take all the notes, and send your PDF after the lesson. You need a laptop or tablet, headphones and a quiet corner.
Le Salon is a small weekly conversation group built around a short reading and a big question. It's for learners from B1 upwards: you can hold a conversation, even with mistakes. Not sure if you're ready? Book a free call and we’ll check together.
You receive the reading a few days before. On the day, we meet by video in a group of 4 to 6. I open with a question, guide the discussion, make sure everyone speaks and correct gently along the way. Afterwards you get a short recap with the best expressions of the session.
With one lesson a week and a little review, most beginners reach A1 in about 4 to 6 months. Two lessons a week roughly halves that. I'll give you an honest estimate on our first call.
